Dear Bamdad,
I disagree with you about "the three ways". It is not accurate at all.
Who claims that? Are you talking about the Left? Do you know that the Right
has several main currents too, but nowadays the believers in the
lassie-fair capitalism getting the upper hand ? Have you read any thing from
Libertarians? Have you read Nozick or Ayn Rand( The ideas that she has
articulated in her books like "Virtue of Selfishness" or "Capitalism:
The Unknown Ideal" sound disgusting to me but she has lots of followers,
for example Allen Greenspan the head of the Federal Reserve who has as much
power as the President of United State is her follower)? They say that
there is only one way and it is PURE Capitalism. They say that even US is not
a "pure" one because it has some elements of "social democracy". They are
against "welfare Capitalism" and believe me they are very sophisticated
to have a simple debate with them. You should read about them to see what
I am talking about. Jim Kalbs "Conservatism FAQ" is a very good starting
point.

I had long arguments with this guy many years ago. Now I see his
arguments are more deserving of respect than the contempt that I gave
them then.
This FAQ is highly worth reading to get acquainted with opposing ideas.
One more point: all supporters of "Market Socialism" are not in favour
of China's model. Most of Analytical Marxist have another system in mind.
If you read David Schweickart's book you will see that.
